Mobile Phone Coverage
Mobile phone coverage around the Loch has improved significantly over the past few years. There are many new masts and better coverage from all of the major operators. Most operators offer all of the basic services and GPRS coverage is available over 90% of the water, enabling MMS.
The worst blackspot is around Pulpit rock just south of Ardlui, Luss can also be problematic |
3G Mobile Internet
Most of the major operators now have a Mobile Broadband offering, of those available we have tried THREE and VODAPHONE.
Of the two VODAPHONE has the better coverage, however 3G speeds can only be gained up to and around the Islands south of Luss, beyond that GPRS speeds are available bar a few dead spots.
