Loch Lomond Byelaws 2006

The Loch Lomond Byelaws 2006 were approved by Scottish Ministers in March 2007 following consultations. Its fair to say that the new byelaws are not without opposition and controversy, but fom the 21st of May 2007 they will come into full effect.

Their purpose of the new byelaws by the Authority is to protect the islands, the National Nature Reserve and wildlife, provide a larger area for quieter activities and further improve safety.
